We’ll start the workshop with a digestive focussed yoga class with Sophie, practicing poses which could be supportive of certain gut symptoms and discussing how these can be implemented at home and as part of a routine to help ease symptoms.
After Yoga we will enjoy a seasonal breakfast pot whilst listening and taking part in an informal discussion, led by Anna on Gut Health.
Our digestion and the quality of our gut health is determines the quality of our whole functioning; from digesting and absorbing key nutrients needed for optimal health, to supporting the immune system function at its best! Those tiny strains of bacteria which live mainly in our large intestine have a special role to play too. As 95% of our feel good hormone serotonin is produced in the gut, the health of these bacteria can help regulate our mood and happiness. Anna will be chatting to us about how prioritising our gut health can support us in so many other areas of our wellbeing.
We will be closing the session with a relaxation and meditation with Sophie, ready to tackle the week ahead.
