Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie
1tbsp Porridge oats
1tsp Chia seeds
1 Handful of frozen or fresh berries
1 Handful of spinach
½ Frozen or fresh banana
¼ Avocado
Splash of milk (of choice)
Ice cubes
Add the ingredients to a blender and blitz.
Buying frozen fruit for smoothies is great as it will avoid waste and make your smoothie taste cold and refreshing! Frozen fruit is just as nutritious as fresh too!
These smoothies are great to make the night before and leave in the fridge to enjoy the next day if you don't have much time in the morning to prepare breakfast.
Kiwi, Spinach and Coconut Smoothie
Ingredients
1/2 Frozen banana
1 Small kiwi
Handful of spinach
1tsp Flaxseed
1tsp Pumpkin seeds
1 Dessert spoon of coconut yogurt
Splash of coconut milk
Ice cubes
Just blitz the ingredients and enjoy.
It's great to try and make nutritionally balanced smoothies if you're having them for a meal, eg. breakfast.
This one is rich in complex carbohydrates, fibre, healthy fats and contains some protein too! Yum!

100ml of Milk (of choice)
2tsp Nut butter
2 Dates
1tsp Chia seeds
1tsp Flaxseed
2tsp of Raw cacao powder
Ice cubes
Blitz ingredients, adding more milk if necessary, and enjoy!
An energising and nutritious morning smoothie, tasting like dessert for breakfast! Yum!
