1-1 Health Coaching Support

A Health Coach is a supportive wellness mentor who can help you to take control of your own health and feel your best by guiding you to make any diet and lifestyle choices that suit your individual needs. As well as promoting a healthy diet, as a holistic health coach, I consider the other areas of your life that may play a part in your overall health (eg. stress levels / sleep quality) and help you to manage these areas more effectively, working to balance out those imbalances and enliven the happiest and healthiest version of you.

We work together to find the tools you need to make sustainable changes and the motivation to start your new health journey. Together, we discuss how you can eat real, nourishing food, exercise mindfully and prioritise time to relax. What I provide isn’t a diet; it is a holistic approach to a healthier life.

The ‘Wellness with Anna’ philosophy focuses on taking a more balanced and holistic approach to health. It is led by client's individual needs, together considering how behaviour changes can be made in the following areas:

Dietary Choices

Nutrition information

Ongoing support with dietary choices

Meal ideas and recipes suitable for you (and your family)

Information on how and why it is important to ‘balance your plate’

The importance of prioritising gut health

Discussion on your relationships with food

Tackling the root cause of cravings

Stress Management

Knowledge on the impact chronic stress has on our physical and mental health

The link between stress and dietary choices

Tips to help you to slow down your lifestyle and manage stress levels

Tools which could help you to adapt your routine and become ‘unbusy’

The link between stress and the gut

Information on the impact quality sleep has on our overall health and wellbeing

The link between sleep and dietary choices / other lifestyle factors

Sleep well tips and guidance

Working on taking a more balanced approach to health, including:

Self care: Are you giving yourself permission to relax and do the things that you enjoy?

Movement: Does this fit well into your weekly routine and are you moving mindfully?

Routine: Exploring the balance between being productive and prioritising rest.

Mindset: Discussing how you could work to create a positive mindset when you’re having a down day.

Considering relationships with your loved ones, yourself and with food.

Do you have a healthy balance between enjoying spending time with others but also being okay with putting your needs first and saying no?

If you are interested in any of the above, the first step would be to book an initial consultation.

  • ‘On the journey, I have learnt so much more than I ever expected, both through the information Anna has shared, and also so much about myself.  I feel so much calmer, healthier and happier than I ever have.  I can definitely say this has changed my life for the better, and will carry this with me onwards.’
  • ‘Mentally I feel better equipped to deal with life than I have ever been before. Physically I feel the best I have ever felt. Eating the right foods, but still enjoying eating out is great, as well as losing a few pounds and fitting into clothes I haven’t done for a while.’
  • ‘Being armed with the taught skill set provided in the 12 week programme, I no longer put myself last on the list, I feel in control to ensure that I think about my wellness everyday and in each decision I make.’

My lovely yogi friend Sophie and I host monthly Wellness Workshops, Supper clubs and Retreats! Each event has a different wellbeing focus, however they usually follow a similar format, including:

- A relevant yoga practice linked to the theme

- A health and wellness discussion, providing information, tips and a Q&A

- A delicious and nutritious plant based meal, snacks and drinks

- Guided meditation and relaxation

- Tips and treats to take away

Keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels for what we have coming up in the next couple of months. We hope to see you there!

Wellbeing at Work

It is great to see that more and more companies are prioritising wellbeing in the workplace.

There’s a lot to juggle during a busy working week. In a fast paced life, whilst trying to reach the end of our to do list, it’s easy for our healthy intentions to take a back seat. It can be tricky to find the time to focus on other areas of our health, and to slow down to prioritise quality rest.

However, with more focus on wellbeing, and creating space for this in the workplace could lead to a healthier, happier team and enhanced business performance.

My ‘Wellbeing at Work’ package offers guidance on how to manage work overwhelm and provides maintainable tips which could have an impact on our daily mood, motivation and mindset along with helping to prioritise our health during a busy working week.

Areas of discussion include:

How we can prioritise real, whole foods that will provide us with the energy we need for a busy day at work, as well as being mindful of the impact certain foods can have on our mood/ motivation.

Discussing the impact chronic stress has on our body and overall wellbeing and tips to prioritise rest and manage stress more effectively.

The importance of prioritising quality sleep, the impact this has on our health and sleep well tips and guidance.

Short activities, resources and time for questions is also provided.

Children and Schools

Before becoming a Health Coach, I was a primary school teacher and an early years specialist. I now work alongside adults, children and families providing them with holistic guidance and dietary support to encourage healthy lifestyle changes. I am passionate about the fact that a healthy lifestyle starts from a young age and like to share my child friendly tips to encourage children to become more aware of the importance of prioritising their own health.

My Kid’s Health and Wellness Workshops include:

Healthy Eating

Why it is important to eat well, nutritional information and potential small group ‘cooking’ sessions

Stress Management

Mental health and it’s link to physical health, what makes us stressed and why, (age friendly) stress management tips and/or meditation

Creating an awareness of the importance of sleep and the part it plays in our overall health

Sharing the benefits and importance of exercise and encouraging positive body talk

Self Care

Why it is important to prioritise self care, practise self love and tips on how to do so

With families, friends, themselves and food, alongside how they can support each other’s health and wellness

All of the above is adapted depending on the children’s age range, ability and situation.

I believe healthy living is key to the learning and development of children and young adults and I aim to make this really fun too!
