September is often seen as a fresh start – an opportunity to re-establish some healthy habits which may have taken a back seat over the summer months and get back into a routine with our wellness. My group coaching programme gives you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of some of the areas that influence your health choices and how to make these more of a priority.

Week 1: Introduction – Health is Health
What is health? In week one you will consider what health means to you as an individual, as well as setting some wellness goals to get you started on your eight week journey. As a group, we will discuss the links between our physical and mental health and share how we are more likely to feel fulfilled, healthy and happy when we look after both. A plan will be shared for the rest of the programme.
Week 2: Eat Real Food
Our dietary choices play a huge part in our overall health and wellbeing. Learn convenient ways to ‘unprocess’ your diet and prioritise real, whole food. I will be sharing some examples of how you can balance your plate in order to provide your body with key nutrients, as well as explaining some of the other factors which influence your dietary choices.
No restriction, just nourishment; the information I share is not a diet; it’s a balanced approach toward healthier choices.
Week 3: Trust your Gut
Begin to understand the meaning of the phrase ‘Trust your Gut’. Making gut health more of a priority is hugely beneficial to our overall health. Creating a healthy balance of bacteria in our gut helps our body to absorb key nutrients, aids digestion and supports immune function. A healthy gut microbiome can also help to manage our weight and have a positive impact on our mental health too. Learn how you can nourish the friendly bacteria that live in our gut and work to take control of your digestive health.
Week 4: How to Stress, Less
A little bit of stress is a good thing; it provides us with the adrenaline we need to complete certain tasks. However chronic stress can have a negative impact on our body, mind, mood and digestion. Rather than letting stress drive certain lifestyle choices, I will be explaining how we can make beneficial changes to our lifestyle in order to prevent, or take control of these stresses before they bubble over. We will discuss the link stress has to our diet, sleep and mental wellbeing and share tips on how to manage it more effectively.
Sleep is the pillar on which all areas of our health sit. When we sleep well, we are more likely to eat well, we feel less stressed and have the ability to think clearly when making lifestyle choices. Busy 21st century lifestyle means we often put sleep to the bottom of our to do list – the least of our priorities. Learn the importance of prioritising quality sleep, the impact it has on our wellbeing and tips on how to get a more restful night.
Taking care of yourself is the first step to feeling better. We put unnecessary pressure on ourselves to reach unrealistic goals, often leaving us feeling like a failure if things don’t go to plan. When we prioritise doing the things that make us feel good, we feel better within ourselves and have more motivation to continue at our best. In week 6 we will discuss the fact that you do not always need to be last on the list, finding ways to prioritise self love and self acceptance. We explore what ‘self care’ means to you and the impact prioritising this has on your overall wellbeing.
Week 7: Finding Balance
Learn to take a more balanced approach to health. This will help you put things into perspective, considering the situation you are in at the time and how to address your choices and decisions towards it.

• Social life/relaxation
• Balancing your plate/enjoying a meal which may not provide as many nutrients, with no guilt or punishment
Finding balance in these areas will help us to take a more holistic approach to our health and wellbeing, making physical and mental health of equal importance. Explore what ‘balance’ means to you and learn how you can make reasonable choices which will make your new health journey more sustainable and enjoyable.
We are all individual. What works for one person doesn’t always work for another. The guidance I share throughout the programme will help you to gain a deeper understanding of the different areas that influence your health, followed by the 1-1 call which will help you to reflect on what you have learnt on a more individual level. The 90 minute follow up call will be an opportunity for me to recap previous discussions, answer any unanswered questions and provide more personalised advice linked to your individual health goals.
Ongoing 1-1 support will be available if required.
Sessions will take place live via Zoom every Wednesday (September 16th – November 4th) with a maximum of 8 women. I am keeping the group small in order to create a likeminded community and a safe space for sharing. There will be time and space for discussion throughout each session, however if you’d rather, you are welcome to sit quietly present and learn.
Relevant handouts and resources will be sent each week.
